Top 10 Movies That Will Blow Your Mind (And Their Release Dates)

2025 is set to be a fantastic year for movie fans. This year’s films contain something for everyone, from action-packed thrillers to suspense series. But with so many massive releases, choosing which ones to watch may be difficult.

That is why we have simplified it for you. This blog will list the top ten must-see movies for 2025. These flicks will have you entertained, excited, and chatting long after the credits have rolled. We’ll also tell you exactly when you can view these movies at www.gomoviesz.org. This list can help you choose your next favorite movie, whether you enjoy science fiction, drama, or heart-pounding action.

Major Movies Coming Out in 2025

1. The Monkey

Stephen King adaptations have often been hit-or-miss. Nonetheless, it’s challenging to think that The Monkey, based on the King of Horror’s 1980 short tale of the same name, would fail to captivate spectators. If only for how batshit (in a nice way) it appears. This is predictable, given that it was written and filmed by Osgood Perkins, the Longlegs filmmaker. Theo James has been on the cusp of mega-stardom for over a decade; this project may be the tipping point.

Release date: February 21

2. Sinners

Tell us Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan are making a movie together, and we will turn up. This is mainly because their fifth collaboration may be the dynamic duo’s most ambitious and creative undertaking. Jordan stars as twin brothers Elijah and Elias, who return to their birthplace in search of a new beginning only to discover something sinister in the air. The plot’s details are well-guarded, heightening our interest in the endeavor.

Release date: March 7

3. Black Bag

We hate to sound like a repeated record. Still, nothing is known about the premise of this forthcoming spy thriller, directed by Steven Soderbergh and written by Jurassic Park author David Koepp. Except that it is a hacking thriller, Cate Blanchett and Michael Fassbender will star, and Regé-Jean Page, a former Bridgerton star, will appear for the first time since the surprisingly well-received Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

Release date: March 14th

4. Mickey 17

Bong Joon-ho’s sequel to Parasite has been in the works for half a dozen years. It was initially on our list of the most anticipated films of 2024. However, due to the actors’ strike and other postproduction delays, it was eventually pushed back to 2025, which brings us to now. One year later, we’re still waiting for the picture, which looks more madcap than past Bong Joon-ho productions.

US release date: March 7

5. Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning

We’ve watched enough Mission: Impossible films in the last quarter-century to know what to anticipate from The Final Reckoning. Tom Cruise jogging; Tom Cruise hanging off the edge of a plane in a magnificent feat that no 62-year-old guy (let alone an A-list actor) should do; Tom Cruise running some more; Tom Cruise begging Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg to trust him; and a bit more running. It never ceases to be compelling—and is best seen on the large screen.

US release date: May 23

6. Ballerina

This John Wick spin-off is another film we wanted to see in 2024. However, the project’s creative geniuses, including Len Wiseman and John Wick director Chad Stahelski, agreed that the action sequences needed more punch. Based on the trailer, they appear to be stunning enough. However, it’s difficult not to be delighted seeing Ana de Armas as an assassin with anger in her heart and an ice skate-turned-weapon in her hand.

US release date: June 6th

7. 28 Years Later

Alex Garland and Danny Boyle collaborated in 2002 to make 28 Days Later, widely regarded as one of the finest zombie films ever filmed. Now, 27 years later (so close), they’ve regrouped to make the third film in the mini-franchise. As the title implies, it looks at the planet three decades after the “Rage Virus” initially struck (spoiler alert: it’s still raging). The movie will star Ralph Fiennes, Jodie Comer, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

US release date: June 20

8. Jurassic World Rebirth

The original Jurassic Park’s reputation has not always fared well over the last three decades. Except for Colin Trevorrow’s extremely well-received Jurassic World (2015), the series has often been one of diminishing returns. However, director Gareth Edwards’ hard reset on the series is hopeful for various reasons, including Edwards’ track record of reviving iconic properties (see: 2014’s Godzilla). The loaded cast of A-name actors will face battle against a swarm of massive dinosaurs, with Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, and Jonathan Bailey leading the pack.

US release date: July 2

9. Superman

His debut film in the DC Universe will most likely be bittersweet for Marvel fans attempting to reconcile with Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn’s “defection” to the DCU. Gunn is the CEO of DC Studios, and he has already made creative decisions that have irked some comic book fans, such as replacing original Superman Henry Cavill with David Corenswet. Though Gunn emphasizes that this is not an origin story, the film will focus on Clark Kent and Lois Lane, and thus, we will likely travel back in time.

US release date: July 11

10. The Battle of Baktan Cross

Just because we have no clue what Paul Thomas Anderson’s new film is about doesn’t mean we don’t want to know more—especially given what we already know. It will be Anderson’s first IMAX film, featuring an all-star ensemble, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Regina Hall, Sean Penn, Wood Harris, and Alana Haim.

US release date: August 8th
